2-Year Warranty

Every Heitz light is chosen with care and made to last. To stand behind that, each piece is covered by our 2-year warranty against genuine manufacturing defects — so the calm a light brings to your home is something you can trust for years, not weeks.

This warranty applies to every Heitz order, including past purchases, for 24 months from the date of delivery.

What the warranty covers

Our warranty protects against manufacturing faults that affect how a light works under normal home use, including:

  • Electrical component failure under normal residential use
  • Internal wiring or driver defects
  • LED malfunction or premature failure
  • Power-related faults caused by manufacturing issues
  • Structural faults that affect safe operation
  • Faults present at delivery but noticed later

Coverage runs for 24 months from the date of delivery and applies to indoor residential installations, unless a product page states otherwise.

Please include your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos or a video where possible. We aim to respond within 12–24 hours.

What’s covered, in short

This warranty covers faults arising from how a product was made — not from how it was installed, used, or handled after delivery.

What the warranty doesn’t cover

The warranty does not apply to issues caused by:

  • Installation errors, wiring mistakes, or incorrect voltage
  • Accidental damage, impact, or breakage
  • External factors such as moisture, humidity, or power surges
  • Normal wear, ageing, or natural changes to materials over time
  • Improper cleaning or care
  • Modifications, alterations, or repairs by an unauthorised third party
  • Commercial, rental, or high-traffic use

What we’ll need from you

So we can assess a claim fairly and quickly, please provide:

  • Proof of purchase or your order number
  • A clear video showing the issue while the light is powered on
  • Clear photos of the installation and wiring
  • Confirmation that the correct voltage was used

Incomplete submissions can’t be assessed, so the more you can share, the faster we can help.

How we put it right

How we resolve an approved claim depends on when the defect is reported:

  • Within the first 60 days of delivery, your claim is handled under our standard returns process — which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund where applicable.
  • After 60 days, and up to 24 months from delivery, we’ll provide a replacement part or an identical item.
  • Replacement shipping is covered once per order.

The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
