Floraya | Elegant Fabric Pendant Light with Floral Pleats for a Serene Bedroom
HEITZ / Indoor pendant lighting
A pleated bloom above the room
Floraya is a fabric pendant light with overlapping white pleats and gold-finish metal fittings. The softly curved layers create a flower-like outline in four diameters, bringing texture above a dining table or into a bedroom.
Overlapping pleated edges give the shade depth when lit or unlit.
Choose 30, 40, 50 or 60 cm to suit the furniture beneath.
Warm metal fittings contrast with the white fabric.
A 150 cm suspension cable allows the drop to be set during installation.
Design & Materials
Floraya in detail
The smaller 30 and 40 cm versions have a more compact, folded profile; the larger sizes open into broader curved layers.
White fabric filters the light while gold-finish metal forms the suspension fittings.

Lighting Character
Warm light through white pleats
The layered fabric shade softens the appearance of the bulb, bringing a gentle glow to the room. Light colour and brightness depend on the fitted bulb.
Placement Inspiration
Finding the right setting
Plan the fixture around the furniture, ceiling support and clearances in your room.
Match the shade diameter to the table width and leave clear space around its edges.
Use the compact sizes for a light, layered ceiling feature.
The larger sizes add a soft fabric form above a seating area.
Installation
Plan the mounting and power connection
A qualified electrician should install this hardwired pendant on a ceiling support suitable for its load. Set the suspension and check clearances before connecting the supply. Wall switches and dimmers are not included.
Care
Care for the materials
Isolate the power and allow the light source to cool. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, supporting the shade while cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and excess moisture.

Bedroom
Common Questions
Combine a soft ceiling light with bedside lamps or wall sconces and optional accent lighting. This provides general illumination when needed while allowing a calmer, lower level of light before sleep.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a comfortable and restful atmosphere. Cooler light can be useful at a dressing area or desk, but may feel less relaxing near the bed.
Yes. Wall sconces free up bedside-table space and can provide focused reading or ambient light. Adjustable designs are helpful for reading, while diffused shades create a softer glow.
The ideal height depends on the bed, mattress and fitting. Position the light so it is easy to reach and illuminates the reading area without shining directly into your eyes. Confirm the final position while seated in bed.
Dimming is useful for transitioning from brighter dressing or cleaning light to softer evening illumination. Confirm that the selected fitting, driver or bulb is dimmable and compatible with the chosen control.
A flush or semi-flush fitting keeps the room feeling open and preserves headroom. Check the total drop as well as the diameter to ensure the light suits the room and does not interfere with doors or wardrobes.
Yes. Ceiling lights, pendants and hardwired sconces should be installed by a qualified electrician, who can confirm safe wiring, wall or ceiling support, earthing and dimmer compatibility.
