A broad hood, curved arm and protective cage frame its frosted glass shade, giving the light a strong outline in daylight and a softer presence after dark. Choose Black for a crisp accent or Coffee Gold for a warmer finish alongside brick and timber.

The metal hood and cage create a layered profile around the glass. The frosted shade obscures the bare bulb, keeping the lit appearance visually gentler at eye level.
Black works with dark ironwork and painted doors. Coffee Gold introduces warmer colour beside red brick, weathered timber or pale stone.

Choose the atmosphere for your exterior
The frosted glass softens the view of the light source while the hood gives the fitting a recognisable workshop shape. A bulb is included. The E26 / E27 format also allows a suitable replacement bulb when required; light colour depends on the fitted bulb.

An exterior fitting with a considered installation
Harbelle has an IP65 rating for outdoor use. Choose a suitable wall position and have the mounting and connections completed according to the supplied instructions. Keep the enclosure intact and the fitting accessible for routine care.
Installation
Plan the position before fitting
Allow space for the hood and curved arm before selecting the mounting point. The fitting uses a hardwired AC 110–240V connection. A compatible standard push switch must be provided separately.
Have mains electrical work completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local requirements.
Care
Keep the finish and light surfaces clear
Switch off the light and isolate its power supply as instructed before cleaning. Use a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth on the frame and shade, and let surfaces dry fully. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.

Front Door & Porch Lights
Common Questions
Wall lights are ideal beside a front door or on a porch with limited ceiling height. A hanging pendant creates a stronger focal point beneath a covered porch with sufficient overhead clearance. Consider the available mounting point, door swing and walking space before choosing.
Choose a fitting that feels proportional to the door and surrounding wall. A compact lantern suits a narrow entrance, while a larger wall light or pendant can balance a wide doorway or taller porch. Check the full height, width and projection shown on each product page before ordering.
Porch wall lights are commonly positioned with the centre of the fitting around eye level, approximately 165–180 cm above the ground. For a pair, keep both lights at the same height. Your installer can adjust the position to suit the door, steps and proportions of the entrance.
The right IP rating depends on exposure. A fitting beneath a fully covered porch may require less protection than one mounted where wind-driven rain can reach it. Check the IP rating and outdoor-use guidance on the individual product page, and choose a higher level of protection for exposed entrances.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a soft and welcoming feel around a front door. Cooler light can appear brighter and more functional, but may feel less relaxed. Always confirm the colour-temperature option available for the selected fitting.
Yes. A motion-sensor light can illuminate the entrance automatically when someone approaches, making it easier to find keys and improving visibility for visitors. If you want the porch illuminated continuously in the evening, choose a non-sensor model or check whether the sensor settings can be adjusted.
Most hardwired wall and hanging porch lights should be installed by a qualified electrician. They can confirm that the wiring, mounting point, ceiling support where required, earthing and weatherproof seals are suitable for safe outdoor use.
