A stone globe beneath a flowing wing
Montavelle pairs a naturally veined alabaster globe with an undulating metal shade and slender brass detail. The single pendant creates a compact focal point above a kitchen island, while cascading configurations carry the same sculptural form through a taller entrance or stairwell. Black and brass metalwork frames the pale stone without hiding its individual markings.
The 10 cm stone globe has individual veining and tonal variation.
A wing-shaped shade sits above each softly illuminated globe.
Choose a single light or a cascade of 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 or 15 lights.
Each head takes one G9 bulb, with the corresponding bulbs included.
Design & Materials
Curved metal above translucent stone
Natural alabaster gives every globe its own pale veins and variations. The stone is the diffuser, rather than a glass imitation.
The dark upper shade contrasts with the warm metal stem. Repeating this small composition creates the larger cascading versions.

One Montavelle pendant fixture in the selected configuration, with the corresponding bulb or bulbs included. Multiple separately suspended fixtures shown together are an installation example unless a multi-head configuration is explicitly selected.
Lighting Character
Choose the light for your setting
Light passes through the alabaster and reveals its natural variation. The warm 3000 K specification suits a welcoming entrance or a relaxed dining setting. Dimming requires compatible dimmable bulbs and a matching wall dimmer; the dimmer is not included.
Placement Inspiration
Use the drop to suit the space
Choose the fixture around the furniture, ceiling height and available clearance. A larger configuration needs space for the full assembly, including suspension.
Choose single pendants and space separate fixtures to suit the length of the counter.
Use a cascade where the complete drop and the width of every shade can be accommodated.
Centre the selected configuration within the available ceiling area and preserve clear passage beneath it.
Installation
Prepare the ceiling connection
Hardwire to a suitable ceiling connection using a qualified electrician. The ceiling and fixings must support the complete selected assembly. Cascade dimensions describe the canopy and configured drop; allow additional horizontal space for the 25 cm heads. Agree the final hanging arrangement before fixing cables.
Disconnect power before installation or maintenance. Follow the supplied instructions and applicable local electrical requirements. Wall switches and dimmers are not included.
Care
Care for the materials gently
Switch off and allow the fixture to cool. Dust gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, supporting delicate shades while cleaning. Avoid abrasive products and chemical solvents. Keep water, detergents and sprays away from the porous alabaster.

Common Questions
Choose a fitting that is proportional to the table rather than the whole room. A linear light suits a long rectangular table, while a round pendant or chandelier can balance a round table. Check the full width and diameter before ordering.
A common starting point is approximately 75–90 cm from the tabletop to the bottom of the fitting. Adjust the height for the room, fixture size and sightlines so diners can see one another comfortably without glare.
One larger fitting can create a clean focal point, while several smaller pendants can spread light along a longer table. Keep multiple pendants evenly spaced and aligned with the centre of the tabletop.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a welcoming atmosphere and complements food, timber and warm finishes. Keep the colour temperature consistent with nearby living or kitchen lighting in open-plan spaces.
Yes. Dimming allows brighter light for serving and cleaning, then softer light for relaxed meals and entertaining. Check that the fitting, driver, bulb and wall dimmer are all compatible.
Choose a shaded, diffused or downward-directed fitting and hang it so the light source is not directly in diners' eyelines. Frosted glass and diffusers can also soften the illumination across the table.
Yes. A qualified electrician should install hardwired fittings and confirm the ceiling support, electrical connections, earthing, suspension height and dimmer compatibility where applicable.
