Serpessa | Sculptural Floor Lamp for Living Rooms with a Wavy Stem
HEITZ / Indoor floor lighting
A flowing line beside your favourite seat
Serpessa brings a sculptural floor lamp into the living room with a wavy black metal stem and a fabric shade. Its slender outline adds movement beside a sofa or armchair, while Beige, White and Dark Green shade options connect with the room's textiles. At 150 cm high, it creates an accent around seating without a broad central column.
The flowing upright form gives the lamp its decorative identity.
A broad textile shade balances the narrow stem.
Choose beige, white or dark green.
The E14 fitting takes a replaceable supplied bulb.

Lighting Character
Shaded light around the seating area
The fabric shade frames a comfortable accent around seating. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the fitted bulb; dimming is not specified.
Placement Inspiration
Give the wavy outline room to show
Plan for a 43 cm shade diameter and keep the base and power cable outside the main walking route. A simple backdrop makes the curved stem easier to appreciate.
Show the wavy stem against a simple background.
Place the shade near the seat while keeping the cable clear.
Repeat the shade colour in nearby fabrics for a coordinated look.
Installation
Prepare your lamp for use
Place on a stable, level floor. Complete any supplied assembly instructions before connecting power, select the appropriate regional plug and keep the cord clear of walkways. Match the electrical rating on the supplied lamp and light source to the local supply.
Care
Care for the materials
Unplug and let the bulb cool. Dust the shade gently with a soft brush and wipe the base with a dry cloth. Do not soak the fabric or use abrasive cleaners.

Bedroom
Common Questions
Combine a soft ceiling light with bedside lamps or wall sconces and optional accent lighting. This provides general illumination when needed while allowing a calmer, lower level of light before sleep.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a comfortable and restful atmosphere. Cooler light can be useful at a dressing area or desk, but may feel less relaxing near the bed.
Yes. Wall sconces free up bedside-table space and can provide focused reading or ambient light. Adjustable designs are helpful for reading, while diffused shades create a softer glow.
The ideal height depends on the bed, mattress and fitting. Position the light so it is easy to reach and illuminates the reading area without shining directly into your eyes. Confirm the final position while seated in bed.
Dimming is useful for transitioning from brighter dressing or cleaning light to softer evening illumination. Confirm that the selected fitting, driver or bulb is dimmable and compatible with the chosen control.
A flush or semi-flush fitting keeps the room feeling open and preserves headroom. Check the total drop as well as the diameter to ensure the light suits the room and does not interfere with doors or wardrobes.
Yes. Ceiling lights, pendants and hardwired sconces should be installed by a qualified electrician, who can confirm safe wiring, wall or ceiling support, earthing and dimmer compatibility.
