Torvyn | Modern Standing Lamp for Living Rooms with an Open Loop Design
Floor Lamp
A graphic outline for contemporary seating
Torvyn uses a tall, open metal outline to make the light part of the room’s composition. Two selectable sizes and four finishes let you choose its scale and colour around your seating area.
A looped upright form gives the lamp a clear graphic identity.
Choose the 158 cm or 185 cm listed height.
Green, orange, black and white are separate options.
A compatible light source is supplied with the lamp.

Lighting Character
Light that suits the setting
The open form leaves the light visually prominent. Choose its position with glare and the surrounding seating in mind; the fitted light source determines brightness and colour temperature.
Placement Inspiration
Find a place for Torvyn
Consider the lamp’s dimensions, the nearest socket and the space around your furniture when choosing its position.
Place the tall outline against a plain wall for a clear silhouette.
Leave clearance around the exposed light positions.
Use as an accent near seating while keeping the floor route clear.
Installation
Prepare your lamp for use
Place on a stable, level floor. Assemble the lamp according to the supplied instructions before connecting power, select the appropriate regional plug and keep the cord clear of walkways. Match the electrical rating on the supplied lamp and light source to the local supply.
Care
Keep the finish looking its best
Unplug and allow the lamp to cool. Wipe the metal surfaces with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and keep moisture away from electrical parts.

Bedroom
Common Questions
Combine a soft ceiling light with bedside lamps or wall sconces and optional accent lighting. This provides general illumination when needed while allowing a calmer, lower level of light before sleep.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a comfortable and restful atmosphere. Cooler light can be useful at a dressing area or desk, but may feel less relaxing near the bed.
Yes. Wall sconces free up bedside-table space and can provide focused reading or ambient light. Adjustable designs are helpful for reading, while diffused shades create a softer glow.
The ideal height depends on the bed, mattress and fitting. Position the light so it is easy to reach and illuminates the reading area without shining directly into your eyes. Confirm the final position while seated in bed.
Dimming is useful for transitioning from brighter dressing or cleaning light to softer evening illumination. Confirm that the selected fitting, driver or bulb is dimmable and compatible with the chosen control.
A flush or semi-flush fitting keeps the room feeling open and preserves headroom. Check the total drop as well as the diameter to ensure the light suits the room and does not interfere with doors or wardrobes.
Yes. Ceiling lights, pendants and hardwired sconces should be installed by a qualified electrician, who can confirm safe wiring, wall or ceiling support, earthing and dimmer compatibility.
