Alvessa | Organic Mushroom Table Lamp in Natural Alabaster
HEITZ / Indoor table lighting
A mushroom silhouette shaped by natural stone
Alvessa is an alabaster table lamp with a softly flared mushroom shade and simple cylindrical base. Its natural white stone is decorative by day, then reveals more of its mineral patterns as the light passes through. Choose between two compact sizes for ambient light beside the bed, on a side table or within a console arrangement.
Translucent stone reveals individual veins, cloudy formations and tonal variations.
A flared shade balances a simple cylindrical base.
Choose 16 × 16 cm or 20 × 20 cm, measured as diameter × height.
Small uses E14 and Large uses G9, with one light source supplied.
Design & Materials
Soft curves with individual mineral patterns
The alabaster can show contrasting veins and cloudy mineral formations. These variations give each lamp its own appearance.
The softly flared shade sits above a cylindrical base. Both sizes retain the same natural material and rounded proportions.

Lighting Character
Light that reveals the alabaster
The stone filters the bulb's light, revealing natural formations and providing soft ambient illumination. Its appearance varies with the alabaster's translucency and the bulb fitted. Use Alvessa alongside other room lighting for a small decorative glow.
Placement Inspiration
A stone accent for bedside and living spaces
Choose a size that leaves comfortable clearance around the lamp and nearby objects.
Use the compact size beside everyday essentials for an ambient evening accent.
Choose the larger size when you want the natural stone to have more presence.
Place on a stable surface with ventilation space and an accessible cord route.
Each purchase includes one lamp. Paired or multi-lamp arrangements require ordering the corresponding quantity.
Installation
Simple plug-in placement
Place the lamp on a stable, level indoor surface with space around the shade. Select the plug type appropriate for your outlet and connect to a compatible mains supply. Route the power cord clear of walkways. No hardwired installation is required.
Care
Care for the materials
Unplug before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Handle the alabaster carefully and avoid moisture, acidic cleaners and abrasive products.

Bedroom
Common Questions
Combine a soft ceiling light with bedside lamps or wall sconces and optional accent lighting. This provides general illumination when needed while allowing a calmer, lower level of light before sleep.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a comfortable and restful atmosphere. Cooler light can be useful at a dressing area or desk, but may feel less relaxing near the bed.
Yes. Wall sconces free up bedside-table space and can provide focused reading or ambient light. Adjustable designs are helpful for reading, while diffused shades create a softer glow.
The ideal height depends on the bed, mattress and fitting. Position the light so it is easy to reach and illuminates the reading area without shining directly into your eyes. Confirm the final position while seated in bed.
Dimming is useful for transitioning from brighter dressing or cleaning light to softer evening illumination. Confirm that the selected fitting, driver or bulb is dimmable and compatible with the chosen control.
A flush or semi-flush fitting keeps the room feeling open and preserves headroom. Check the total drop as well as the diameter to ensure the light suits the room and does not interfere with doors or wardrobes.
Yes. Ceiling lights, pendants and hardwired sconces should be installed by a qualified electrician, who can confirm safe wiring, wall or ceiling support, earthing and dimmer compatibility.
