Mid-Century Long-Arm Wall Sconce for Focused Reading and Desk Lighting
Armevia wall sconce reaches into the room with a long metal arm and a rotating shade. Single-arm and two-arm configurations in Black or White bring focused light beside a reading chair, above a desk or across a seating corner.
Five configurations position the shade at different distances and heights.
The shade can be aimed independently to direct light onto the task.
Choose a single-arm fixture or a two-head square-plate design.
Two finishes keep the articulated silhouette clear.

Details that define Armevia
Slender arms trace an angular outline while keeping the shade visually light.

Lighting Character
Light that suits the setting
The rotating metal shade directs light onto a desk or reading area. Compatible dimmable LED or Edison-style bulbs can be used with a matching TRIAC dimmer. The supplied bulbs determine brightness and colour temperature; dimming is not a separate built-in mode.
Placement Inspiration
Find a place for Armevia
Consider furniture, clearances and the position of the power connection when planning the fixture.
Use the fixture as an ambient accent alongside the room’s other lighting.
Place the light where it supports the task without shining directly into the eyes.
Plan the position around the headboard, bedside furniture and easy access to the controls.
Purchase contents follow the selected configuration. Additional fixtures shown in an arrangement require the corresponding quantity.
Installation
Prepare the installation
A qualified electrician should complete the hardwired wall installation. Check the supporting surface, fixture dimensions and required clearances, then follow the supplied electrical and mounting instructions. Match the fixture and light-source ratings to the local supply.
Care
Care for the finish
Switch off and disconnect or isolate power before cleaning. Allow the light source to cool, then dust the surfaces gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and keep moisture away from electrical parts.

Bedroom
Common Questions
Combine a soft ceiling light with bedside lamps or wall sconces and optional accent lighting. This provides general illumination when needed while allowing a calmer, lower level of light before sleep.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a comfortable and restful atmosphere. Cooler light can be useful at a dressing area or desk, but may feel less relaxing near the bed.
Yes. Wall sconces free up bedside-table space and can provide focused reading or ambient light. Adjustable designs are helpful for reading, while diffused shades create a softer glow.
The ideal height depends on the bed, mattress and fitting. Position the light so it is easy to reach and illuminates the reading area without shining directly into your eyes. Confirm the final position while seated in bed.
Dimming is useful for transitioning from brighter dressing or cleaning light to softer evening illumination. Confirm that the selected fitting, driver or bulb is dimmable and compatible with the chosen control.
A flush or semi-flush fitting keeps the room feeling open and preserves headroom. Check the total drop as well as the diameter to ensure the light suits the room and does not interfere with doors or wardrobes.
Yes. Ceiling lights, pendants and hardwired sconces should be installed by a qualified electrician, who can confirm safe wiring, wall or ceiling support, earthing and dimmer compatibility.
