Design & Materials
Traditional detail with a slender lantern profile
The glazed roof and lower section echo the angles of the elongated lantern body. Vertical lines through the clear glass, decorative top and bottom finials, and two straight arms on a long rectangular backplate give BronzeGlow detail from the front and the side.
A die-cast aluminium frame provides the structure, finished in bronze gold. Clear glazing keeps the light source visible, while the warm metal tone sits comfortably against red brick, pale render, natural stone and timber.

The clear glazing leaves the bulb visible within the metal frame, making the illuminated enclosure part of the design. Choose from three separate light-temperature options to coordinate with neighbouring lights and the feel of your entrance. These are individual options, rather than selectable settings on one fitting.

Outdoor Performance
IP65 protection for exterior placement
BronzeGlow carries an IP65 rating for protection against dust ingress and water jets. It is designed for outdoor wall use at entrances, porches, verandas and exterior passages. Choose a suitable mounting position and ensure the electrical connection is protected for the installation.
Installation
Plan the wall position and mains connection
This mains-powered lantern operates on 110–240V and requires hardwired, vertical wall mounting. Check that the surface can accommodate the rectangular backplate and that the complete 58 cm height, 20 cm width and 18 cm projection fit the intended position.
Have a suitably qualified electrician complete the installation in accordance with local electrical requirements. Confirm the bulb fitting and permitted wattage before purchasing replacement bulbs, and check compatibility before adding dimming controls.
Care
Keep the glass and bronze gold finish looking their best
Switch off the power before cleaning. Wipe the frame and glass with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.

Heitz’s 1-year warranty policy provides 12 months of coverage from delivery for eligible manufacturing defects, subject to its installation scope and exclusions. Please confirm outdoor-installation coverage with support@heitz.shop before relying on that cover for this fitting.
To request help with a fault, email your order number, a short description and clear photos or a video. Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by the warranty.

Front Door & Porch Lights
Common Questions
Wall lights are ideal beside a front door or on a porch with limited ceiling height. A hanging pendant creates a stronger focal point beneath a covered porch with sufficient overhead clearance. Consider the available mounting point, door swing and walking space before choosing.
Choose a fitting that feels proportional to the door and surrounding wall. A compact lantern suits a narrow entrance, while a larger wall light or pendant can balance a wide doorway or taller porch. Check the full height, width and projection shown on each product page before ordering.
Porch wall lights are commonly positioned with the centre of the fitting around eye level, approximately 165–180 cm above the ground. For a pair, keep both lights at the same height. Your installer can adjust the position to suit the door, steps and proportions of the entrance.
The right IP rating depends on exposure. A fitting beneath a fully covered porch may require less protection than one mounted where wind-driven rain can reach it. Check the IP rating and outdoor-use guidance on the individual product page, and choose a higher level of protection for exposed entrances.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a soft and welcoming feel around a front door. Cooler light can appear brighter and more functional, but may feel less relaxed. Always confirm the colour-temperature option available for the selected fitting.
Yes. A motion-sensor light can illuminate the entrance automatically when someone approaches, making it easier to find keys and improving visibility for visitors. If you want the porch illuminated continuously in the evening, choose a non-sensor model or check whether the sensor settings can be adjusted.
Most hardwired wall and hanging porch lights should be installed by a qualified electrician. They can confirm that the wiring, mounting point, ceiling support where required, earthing and weatherproof seals are suitable for safe outdoor use.
