Lattora | Slatted Outdoor Post Light for Warm Gateways, Solar or Wired
HEITZ / Outdoor lighting
Fine horizontal lines above the gate
Lattora brings a compact slatted lantern to gate pillars, terrace walls and fence posts. Its black galvanised-steel frame surrounds clear acrylic panels, with fine horizontal lines creating a layered appearance when the light is on. Five square footprints and four separate power options help match the fitting to its setting.
Fine lines give the low lantern visual depth.
20, 25, 30, 40 or 50 cm across.
Choose the correct power configuration separately.
A consistent low profile across all sizes.
Design & Materials
Details that define Lattora
Horizontal slats and clear panels make the light part of the lantern’s structure. The black frame gives each corner a clear edge.
The same 18 cm height spans five footprints. Compare the selected width with the flat top of the pillar or wall before ordering.

Find the right fit for your space

Lighting Character
Light for everyday outdoor moments
Warm light is visible between the horizontal slats and through the clear panels. Wired versions use a replaceable E27 bulb; the solar version uses an integrated LED. Solar output and runtime depend on the available daylight and operating conditions.
Placement Inspiration
Make the light part of the setting
Choose a secure position that suits the dimensions and power configuration of the selected light.
Choose a footprint that fits within the flat top of the supporting pillar.
Repeat matching sizes along a suitable level wall for a consistent appearance.
Use on a broad, stable support beside the terrace, keeping the fitting clear of standing water.
Each purchase includes one light. Paired or repeated arrangements require ordering the corresponding quantity.
Outdoor Performance
Plan a suitable outdoor position
The fitting is rated IP65 for outdoor use. Keep it above standing water and do not immerse it. Choose a secure position and ensure the mounting surface and any electrical connections are suitable for the installation.
Installation
Prepare the position and power supply
Mount on a stable, level support large enough for the selected size. A qualified electrician should install wired versions using the exact AC or DC supply selected. DC 12V and DC 24V versions require a matching low-voltage supply and must not connect directly to mains. Position solar versions where the panel receives direct sunlight.
Care
Keep the finish and light surfaces clear
Switch off before cleaning and isolate any wired supply. Use a soft cloth on the frame and diffuser, avoiding abrasive pads and harsh cleaners. Keep any solar panel clear of dust and debris; do not immerse the fitting.

Driveway, Gate & Fence Lighting
Common Questions
Pillar or post-cap lights can mark the entrance, while wall lights and bollards help illuminate gates, boundary walls and the route towards the property. Combining these at a consistent colour temperature creates clear guidance without flooding the entire driveway.
Driveway lighting should provide enough visibility for vehicles and pedestrians without creating glare for drivers, neighbours or the road. Several well-spaced, lower-output fittings often produce a safer and more balanced result than one very bright light.
Place lights where they identify the entrance, gate controls, pedestrian access and any changes in level. Keep fittings outside vehicle turning areas and clear of moving gates, hinges and door-opening zones.
Yes, if the fence is strong enough to support the fitting and the light is suitable for outdoor use. Check the mounting-base size, projection and cable requirements, and avoid positions where the fitting could obstruct gates or be easily struck.
Motion sensors can provide light only when a vehicle or person approaches, which is useful for entrances and darker sections of a drive. Choose a model with a detection range and direction suited to the space to reduce unwanted activation from the road or neighbouring areas.
Solar lights are convenient where cabling is difficult, but require sufficient daylight and may vary with the season. Hardwired fittings provide more consistent output and are generally better when reliable nightly illumination is important.
Hardwired fittings should be installed by a qualified electrician. They can plan protected cable routes, safe connections, earthing and weatherproof seals while keeping the installation clear of vehicles and moving gate components.
