Solvane | Refined Outdoor Wall Light with Warm 3000K LED, Stainless Steel & Solar or Wired Options
HEITZ / OUTDOOR WALL LIGHTING
Bring a calm vertical accent to your exterior
Solvane pairs an open rectangular outline with a slim central diffuser, giving warm light a clear architectural setting. The stainless steel and acrylic construction keeps the shape simple enough for contemporary render, stone or timber. Choose a 40, 60 or 80 cm height and the power version that suits the installation.
Design & Materials
Details that define Solvane
The frame leaves visual space around the central light surface, so the fixture has presence without appearing like a solid block. Acrylic surrounds the illuminated centre.
The smaller model suits a more confined entrance. Taller versions create a longer line alongside substantial doors or open sections of exterior wall.

Lighting Character
Choose the atmosphere for your exterior
The fixed warm 3000K light suits an evening entrance or relaxed outdoor seating area. Choose the power source independently of the height: all listed versions use warm light. Solar and wired are separate products within the same design range.
Placement Inspiration
Make the light part of the setting
Use the vertical frame beside a tall door or repeat it along a patio wall. For a solar version, choose the location around reliable daylight exposure before deciding how it will balance with the architecture.
Each purchase includes one fitting. Order the quantity needed for a pair or repeated arrangement.
Outdoor Performance
An exterior fitting with a considered installation
Solvane has an IP65 rating for outdoor use. Choose a suitable wall position and have the mounting and connections completed according to the supplied instructions. Keep the enclosure intact and the fitting accessible for routine care.
Installation
Plan the position before fitting
Select Solar or Wired before ordering. The wired version requires an AC 110–240V connection. Position the solar version for suitable daylight exposure and follow its supplied installation and operating instructions. Keep the full fitting clear of opening doors.
Have mains electrical work completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local requirements.
Care
Keep the finish and light surfaces clear
Switch off the light and isolate its power supply as instructed before cleaning. Use a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth on the frame and shade, and let surfaces dry fully. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.

Front Door & Porch Lights
Common Questions
Wall lights are ideal beside a front door or on a porch with limited ceiling height. A hanging pendant creates a stronger focal point beneath a covered porch with sufficient overhead clearance. Consider the available mounting point, door swing and walking space before choosing.
Choose a fitting that feels proportional to the door and surrounding wall. A compact lantern suits a narrow entrance, while a larger wall light or pendant can balance a wide doorway or taller porch. Check the full height, width and projection shown on each product page before ordering.
Porch wall lights are commonly positioned with the centre of the fitting around eye level, approximately 165–180 cm above the ground. For a pair, keep both lights at the same height. Your installer can adjust the position to suit the door, steps and proportions of the entrance.
The right IP rating depends on exposure. A fitting beneath a fully covered porch may require less protection than one mounted where wind-driven rain can reach it. Check the IP rating and outdoor-use guidance on the individual product page, and choose a higher level of protection for exposed entrances.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a soft and welcoming feel around a front door. Cooler light can appear brighter and more functional, but may feel less relaxed. Always confirm the colour-temperature option available for the selected fitting.
Yes. A motion-sensor light can illuminate the entrance automatically when someone approaches, making it easier to find keys and improving visibility for visitors. If you want the porch illuminated continuously in the evening, choose a non-sensor model or check whether the sensor settings can be adjusted.
Most hardwired wall and hanging porch lights should be installed by a qualified electrician. They can confirm that the wiring, mounting point, ceiling support where required, earthing and weatherproof seals are suitable for safe outdoor use.
