Alternating curves and narrower sections make the pendant interesting from different viewpoints.
Hand-bonded washi paper creates the diffuser while the metal structure defines its outline. The paper is bonded by hand, and small traces of glue can be visible along the shade edges.

A qualified electrician should complete the hardwired ceiling installation. Check the supporting surface, fixture dimensions and required clearances, then follow the supplied electrical and mounting instructions. Match the fixture and light-source ratings to the local supply.

Isolate power and allow the bulb to cool. Dust the paper lightly with a soft, dry brush or cloth, without pressing the shade. Keep the paper dry and avoid liquid cleaners.

Choose a fitting that is proportional to the table rather than the whole room. A linear light suits a long rectangular table, while a round pendant or chandelier can balance a round table. Check the full width and diameter before ordering.
A common starting point is approximately 75–90 cm from the tabletop to the bottom of the fitting. Adjust the height for the room, fixture size and sightlines so diners can see one another comfortably without glare.
One larger fitting can create a clean focal point, while several smaller pendants can spread light along a longer table. Keep multiple pendants evenly spaced and aligned with the centre of the tabletop.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a welcoming atmosphere and complements food, timber and warm finishes. Keep the colour temperature consistent with nearby living or kitchen lighting in open-plan spaces.
