A quiet band of light across the pillar
Tierelle uses two broad metal layers and a recessed acrylic light band to create a low architectural pillar light. Warm LED light appears around the waist of the fitting, adding a defined line to gate posts and terrace boundaries. Choose Black or Grey in three square widths, then select the appropriate wired or solar version.

The recessed acrylic section separates the solid upper and lower parts. A low profile keeps the view above a gate or boundary open.
Black gives a strong outline, while Grey offers a softer contrast. Match the footprint to the flat mounting surface for a balanced installation.

Light for everyday outdoor moments
The included warm 3000K LED illuminates the recessed band around the fitting. Solar and wired configurations are separate choices. Solar performance varies with charging conditions; select a wired option where the matching electrical supply is available.

Outdoor Performance
Plan a suitable outdoor position
The fitting is rated IP65 for outdoor use. Keep it above standing water and do not immerse it. Choose a secure position and ensure the mounting surface and any electrical connections are suitable for the installation.
Installation
Prepare the position and power supply
Mount on a stable, level support large enough for the selected size. A qualified electrician should install wired versions using the exact AC or DC supply selected. DC 12V and DC 24V versions require a matching low-voltage supply and must not connect directly to mains. Position solar versions where the panel receives direct sunlight.
Care
Keep the finish and light surfaces clear
Switch off before cleaning and isolate any wired supply. Use a soft cloth on the frame and diffuser, avoiding abrasive pads and harsh cleaners. Keep any solar panel clear of dust and debris; do not immerse the fitting.

Common Questions
Pillar or post-cap lights can mark the entrance, while wall lights and bollards help illuminate gates, boundary walls and the route towards the property. Combining these at a consistent colour temperature creates clear guidance without flooding the entire driveway.
Driveway lighting should provide enough visibility for vehicles and pedestrians without creating glare for drivers, neighbours or the road. Several well-spaced, lower-output fittings often produce a safer and more balanced result than one very bright light.
Place lights where they identify the entrance, gate controls, pedestrian access and any changes in level. Keep fittings outside vehicle turning areas and clear of moving gates, hinges and door-opening zones.
Yes, if the fence is strong enough to support the fitting and the light is suitable for outdoor use. Check the mounting-base size, projection and cable requirements, and avoid positions where the fitting could obstruct gates or be easily struck.
Motion sensors can provide light only when a vehicle or person approaches, which is useful for entrances and darker sections of a drive. Choose a model with a detection range and direction suited to the space to reduce unwanted activation from the road or neighbouring areas.
Solar lights are convenient where cabling is difficult, but require sufficient daylight and may vary with the season. Hardwired fittings provide more consistent output and are generally better when reliable nightly illumination is important.
Hardwired fittings should be installed by a qualified electrician. They can plan protected cable routes, safe connections, earthing and weatherproof seals while keeping the installation clear of vehicles and moving gate components.
