Petalora brings a gentle, rounded shape to covered outdoor spaces. Curved black ribs divide the faux alabaster panels into petal-like sections, creating a lantern that feels decorative without a broad, angular roof. Three sizes let you carry the same design from a smaller porch to a more generous covered terrace.
Design & Materials
Curves that bring balance to the setting
The ribbed, ovoid enclosure introduces curves beside rectangular doors, posts and windows. Its lower finial completes the silhouette, giving the lantern a traditional decorative finish.
Sandblasted black aluminium traces the edges of the faux alabaster panels. When illuminated, the pale sections become the visual centre of the lantern while the ribs retain their sculpted outline.

Keep the design, choose the scale
Small suits a more compact covered entrance, Medium offers an intermediate proportion, and Large makes a stronger feature beneath a wider roof. Use the diameter and fixture height together to judge how each option will sit in the space.

Suspension: adjustable chain up to 150 cm (approximately 59.1″). Fixture height and suspension are separate; the final ceiling-to-bottom drop depends on the installed suspension and canopy.

Lighting Character
A softly lit shape with defined edges
The faux alabaster panels diffuse the included bulb and give Petalora a luminous, segmented appearance. The black ribs add definition around each panel. A single replaceable E26 / E27 bulb is included, with the final light colour and brightness determined by the bulb.
Placement Inspiration
Link your porch and outdoor living area
Use Petalora's three proportions to keep a consistent design across sheltered spaces of different sizes. The black finish works alongside dark window frames, railings and door furniture.
Each purchase includes one pendant. Order the quantity needed if your layout uses more than one.
Outdoor Performance
Choose a considered outdoor setting
Petalora is designed for sheltered outdoor hanging-light applications around covered entrances, verandas and patio areas. Its die-cast aluminium frame holds the faux alabaster panels. Select a protected site suitable for the fixture and local conditions.
Installation
Plan the hanging position before fitting
Petalora uses a hardwired AC 110–240V mains connection and a suitable ceiling mounting point. Set the adjustable chain during installation, allowing for the fixture height and comfortable clearance beneath it. Check that doors, furniture and nearby circulation areas remain clear.
Installation by a qualified electrician. Have the fitting installed in accordance with local electrical requirements.
Care
Keep the materials looking their best
Switch off the power before cleaning. Wipe the aluminium frame and faux alabaster panels gently with a soft, dry or lightly dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemical cleaners.

Front Door & Porch Lights
Common Questions
Wall lights are ideal beside a front door or on a porch with limited ceiling height. A hanging pendant creates a stronger focal point beneath a covered porch with sufficient overhead clearance. Consider the available mounting point, door swing and walking space before choosing.
Choose a fitting that feels proportional to the door and surrounding wall. A compact lantern suits a narrow entrance, while a larger wall light or pendant can balance a wide doorway or taller porch. Check the full height, width and projection shown on each product page before ordering.
Porch wall lights are commonly positioned with the centre of the fitting around eye level, approximately 165–180 cm above the ground. For a pair, keep both lights at the same height. Your installer can adjust the position to suit the door, steps and proportions of the entrance.
The right IP rating depends on exposure. A fitting beneath a fully covered porch may require less protection than one mounted where wind-driven rain can reach it. Check the IP rating and outdoor-use guidance on the individual product page, and choose a higher level of protection for exposed entrances.
Warm white light, generally around 2700K–3000K, creates a soft and welcoming feel around a front door. Cooler light can appear brighter and more functional, but may feel less relaxed. Always confirm the colour-temperature option available for the selected fitting.
Yes. A motion-sensor light can illuminate the entrance automatically when someone approaches, making it easier to find keys and improving visibility for visitors. If you want the porch illuminated continuously in the evening, choose a non-sensor model or check whether the sensor settings can be adjusted.
Most hardwired wall and hanging porch lights should be installed by a qualified electrician. They can confirm that the wiring, mounting point, ceiling support where required, earthing and weatherproof seals are suitable for safe outdoor use.
